Airports & Trains
Munich Airport
Arrive direct from most major world airports and take a one-hour train right from the airport. Flights tend to be cheaper here. Train links below.
Salzburg Airport
A smaller airport located close to the palace. If flying from abroad, you will likely catch a connecting flight in larger city. Flights here may be more expensive.
Vienna Airport
If you can, begin or end your trip in this world-class city. Vienna is three hours from Salzburg via train and a don't-miss-city.
Trains in Austria
Trains are inexpensive and convenient in Austria. Approximately $50 roundtrip from Munich to Salzburg.
