Trains in Austria

Trains are inexpensive and convenient in Austria. Approximately $50 roundtrip from Munich to Salzburg.

PRO TIP: Pay the small fee to reserve a seat with your ticket. Many people are traveling on Eurail passes, and trains can get overcrowded, and you are not guaranteed a seat with your basic train ticket. To ensure your comfort, reserve a seat along with your ticket.
