Course Goal and Learning Objectives

Course Goal: At the end of this program, participants will be able to create online courses to provide psychoeducational intervention for clients.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will be able to describe at least 2 of the major research findings and best-practices for creating digital interventions such as online psychoeducational courses.
  2. Participants will be able to effectively create at least 1 highly quality, well-researched digital interventions in their area of expertise.
  3. Participants will be able to use at least 1 form of technology to disseminate cost-effective psychoeducational interventions for their clients.
  4. Participants will be able to describe at least 2 benefits and risks of psychoeducational interventions for clients.
  5. Participants will be able to identify at least 2 ways that they can incorporate digital interventions to benefit their clients.

CE Approval: This course has been approved for 18 hours of continuing education by the NBCC. Additionally, this course meets the qualifications for 18 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Therapy that Works Institute programs are offered for NBCC credit (NBCC ACEP No. 7125). Additionally, the Therapy that Works Institute (Provider #1000141) is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs and LEPs. 

Therapy that Works Institute maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content.

Course CE certificates will be awarded via email within 24 hours upon completion of all course modules, course quiz, and course evaluation. 

Audience: This course is intended for both new and experienced mental health clinicians, including counselors, family therapists, and social workers.
